NBA Conferences
The National Bison Association holds conferences periodically to celebrate the bison community. The events are designed to be fun-filled oppportunities to gather and network with your fellow bison enthusiast while learning a thing or two.
Our annual Winter Conference is held in conjunction with our Gold Trophy Show and Sale, and the National Western Stock Show in Denver.
This conference is the NBA's main event that consists of four days of festivities and learning opportunties. Highlights include the annual Fun Auction dinner, which features the award winning recipe from our annual member-recipe contest, and the Friday evening Gold Trophy Banquet Dinner.
2011 NBA Winter Conference:
Planning for the 16th annual NBA Winter Conference and 31st Gold Trophy Show and Sale, January 19 – 22nd at the Denver Renaissance Hotel, is under way. The Winter Conference planning committee, led by Chairman Jud Seaman of Rapid City, South Dakota, is meeting each month to plan for what promises to be a fantastic learning and networking opportunity, not to mention an overall good time.
The NBA will return to the Denver Renaissance Hotel (http://denverrenaissance-px.rtrk.com/), located just minutes from the National Western Stock Show complex, for the second year in a row. The new hotel features less expensive rooms, a free shuttle to Denver International Airport and the National Western Stock Show complex, and close proximity to shopping and entertainment that will keep the whole family entertained.
This year’s Winter Conference will feature a wide range of speakers and educational topics that will provide hands on hints from the best and brightest in the business. Topics to be covered will appeal to the broad membership of the NBA today, and will have something for everyone to take home, from the beginner rancher to the seasoned vet, from buffalo marketers to conservationists, it’s an event that is not to be missed.
